About the Owners – Mountain Mulligans
Mountain Mulligans was founded by Matt and Kelly Segerstrom, along with their two boys, PJ and Karter, to bring both family-friendly recreation and year-round golf to the White Mountains. What began as a personal need—to find a place to practice during a family cabin trip when courses were still closed—quickly turned into a greater vision. Inspired by their sons’ passion for the game and conversations with local coaches, the Segerstroms set out to create an indoor facility that would serve the community, including student athletes from Blue Ridge and Show Low, especially during the winter months.
Golf runs deep in the family: PJ plays college golf, Karter is a varsity golfer at Perry High School, and Matt formerly coached high school golf at Gilbert Christian High School. Fittingly, the Mountain Mulligans' logo proudly features both boys—symbolizing not just a business, but a family of golfers sharing their love for the game with the mountain community.
